Barkat e Darood Sharif

   Hazrat Maulana Mufti Abdul Rauf Sukhravi narrates the story of the gift of a scribe ......... What a scribe used to do like people compose nowadays, he was an old scribe, he had a strange routine  That he had made a notebook just to take Durood Sharif, and he used to write a very beautiful Durood Sharif in the light of the art of writing in his notebook before he used to sit down to write every day at one time.  From then until the evening, he used to write various articles and go through it.  His whole life was spent in it ..... When the time of death of this scribe approached, he became anxious about the Hereafter and feared that he would soon leave this world and reach the Hereafter.  I do not know what will happen to me, whether I will be forgiven or not. Meanwhile, a passer-by passed by his house and said, 'Why are you afraid of the Hereafter?'  It is presented in front of ALLAH ALMIGHTY and to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and being mark as correct, this Durood Sharif is correct, this Durood Sharif is also near and this Durood Sharif is also accepted, there are signs of correction and  You are terrified ...... Durood Sharif is such a popular worship that Allah Almighty arranges the salvation of the Hereafter with its blessings .... (Barakat Durood Sharif)

Urdu Translation:-

حضرت مولانا مفتی عبدالرئوف سکھروی مدظللہ فرماتے ہیں۔

ایک صاحب کتابت کیا کرتے تھے، جیسے آج کل لوگ کمپوزنگ کرتے ہیں، وہ پرانے زمانے کے کاتب تھے۔ ان کا ایک عجیب معمول تھا کہ انہوں نے صرف درود شریف لکھنے کے لئے ایک کاپی بنائی ہوئی تھی اور وہ روزانہ جب بھی صبح کتابت کرنے بیٹھتے تو کتابت کرنے سے پہلے اس کاپی میں فن کتابت کی روشنی میں ایک بہت ہی خوبصورت درود شریف لکھتے تھے۔ اس کے بعد سے لیکر شام تک مختلف مضامین کی کتابت کرکے اسی سے گزر بسر کرتے۔ ان کی ساری زندگی اسی میں گزر گئی۔

جب ان کاتب صاحب کا انتقال کا وقت قریب آیا تو انہیں آخرت کی فکر سوار ہوئی اور ڈرنے لگے کہ کچھ ہی دیر بعد دنیا سے چلا جائوں گا اور آخرت میں پہنچوں گا تو معلوم نہیں کہ میرے ساتھ کیا معاملہ ہوگا، میری بخشش ہوگی یا نہیں ہوگی۔ یہ سوچ ہی رہے تھے کہ ایک مجذوب ان کے گھر کے پاس سے گزرا اور کہا کہ ارے تو آخرت سے کیوں گھبراتا ہے؟ تیری درود شریف کی کاپی اللّٰہ تعالٰی کی بارگاہ اور نبی کریم صلی اللّٰہ علیہ والہ وسلم کی خدمت میں پیش ہے اور اس پر صحیح کے نشان لگائے جا رہے ہیں کہ یہ درود شریف بھی صحیح ہے، یہ درود شریف بھی پاس ہے، یہ درود شریف بھی قبول ہے۔ وہاں تو صحیح کے نشان لگ رہے ہیں اور تو گھبرا رہا ہے۔ درود شریف تو ایسی مقبول عبادت ہے کہ اللّٰہ تعالٰی اس کی  برکت سے آخرت کی نجات کا بھی انتظام فرما دیتا ہے۔۔۔ (برکات درود شریف)
