The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) once asked Gabriel (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): O Gabriel (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)! Have you ever had to descend from the sky with great difficulty and immediately? Gabriel replied yes! Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) four times that I had to land immediately with great speed. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked on what occasion four times?
Gabriel (peace be upon him) said: When Ibrahim (peace be upon him) was thrown into the fire, I was under the Throne of God at that time. I was commanded, Gabriel! Reach my Khalil before you reach Khalil's fire. So I hurried to Ibrahim (peace be upon him).
The second time, when the knife was placed on Ishmael's neck, I was ordered to reach the ground before the knife moved and I turned the knife upside down, so I reached the ground before the knife moved and did not allow the knife to move. ۔
The third time when Hazrat Yusuf (as) was thrown into the well, I was ordered to immediately reach the ground and take out a stone from the well and place Yusuf (as) on this stone, so I did so.
The fourth time the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) when the disbelievers martyred the blessed teeth of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), I was ordered to reach the earth immediately and not let the blood of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) fall on the earth. Let me take the blessed blood in my hands before it falls.
Oh Messenger of Allah, (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), said to me: Gabriel! If this blood of my beloved Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) fell on the earth, no vegetable or tree would grow on it till the Day of Resurrection. So I rushed to the ground and took the blessed blood of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in my hands.
Urdu Translation:
حضور صلی اللّٰہ علیہ والہ وسلم نے ایک مرتبہ جبرئیل علیہ السلام سے پوچھا اے جبرئیل علیہ السلام! کبھی تمہیں آسمان سے مشقت کے ساتھ بڑی جلدی اور فوراً بھی زمین پر اترنا پڑا ہے؟ جبرئیل علیہ السلام نے جواب دیا جی ہاں! یا رسول اللّٰہ صلی علیہ والہ وسلم چار مرتبہ ایسا ہوا ہے کہ مجھے فورًا بڑی سرعت کے ساتھ زمین پر اترنا پڑا ہے۔ حضور صلی اللّٰہ علیہ والہ وسلم نے پوچھا وہ چار مرتبہ کس موقع پر؟
جبرئیل علیہ السلام نے عرض کیا کہ ایک تو جب حضرت ابرہیم علیہ السلام کو آگ میں ڈالا گیا تو میں اس وقت عرش الٰہی کے نیچے تھا ، مجھے حکم ہوا جبرئیل! خلیل کے آگ میں پہنچنے سے پہلے میرے خلیل کے پاس پہنچو۔ چنانچہ میں بڑی سرعت کے ساتھ فورًا ابراہیم علیہ السلام کے پاس پہنچا۔
دوسری مرتبہ جب اسماعیل علیہ السلام کی گردن اطہر پر پر چھری رکھ دی گئی تو مجھے حکم ہوا کہ چھری چلنے سے پہلے ہی زمین پر پہنچوں اور چھری کو الٹا دوں چنانچہ میں چھری چلنے سے پہلے ہی زمین پر پہنچ گیا اور چھری کو چلنے نہ دیا۔
تیسری مرتبہ جب حضرت یوسف علیہ السلام کو کنویں میں پھینکا گیا تو مجھے حکم ہوا کہ فورًا زمین پر پہنچوں اور کنویں میں سے پتھر نکال کر یوسف علیہ السلام کو اس پتھر پر بٹھا دوں،چنانچہ میں نے ایسا ہی کیا۔
چوتھی مرتبہ یا رسول اللّٰہ صلی اللّٰہ علیہ والہ وسلم جب کافروں نے آپ صلی اللّٰہ علیہ والہ وسلم کے دندان مبارک شہید کیئے تو مجھے حکم ہوا کہ فورًا زمین پر پہنچوں اور آپ صلی اللّٰہ علیہ والہ وسلم کا خون مبارک زمین پر نہ گرنے دوں اور زمین پر گرنے سے پہلے ہی میں خون مبارک اپنے ہاتھوں میں لےلوں۔
یا رسول اللّٰہ صلی اللّٰہ علیہ والہ وسلم اللّٰہ نے مجھے فرمایا تھا جبرئیل! اگر میرے محبوب صلی اللّٰہ علیہ والہ وسلم کا یہ خون مبارک زمین پر گرگیا تو قیامت تک زمین میں سے نہ کوئی سبزی اُگے گی اور نہ کوئی درخت۔ چنانچہ میں بڑی تیزی کے ساتھ زمین پر پہنچا اور آپ صلی اللّٰہ علیہ والہ وسلم کے خون مبارک کو اپنے ہاتھوں میں لے لیا۔۔۔۔
