Wafd-e-Tariq

 One day while walking, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) went to a pasture outside Madinah. A caravan was camping there. He liked his red camels.  The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) liked it.  The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked them, "Do you sell these camels?" They wanted to sell or not but just because of The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked, they replied "Yes, we sell."  The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked, "How much do you sell?"

The told the price and The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Well, I buy it, but I do not have the price yet. I had just gone for a walk, if it is possible I will send you money when i get home.  They accepted, The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) grabbed a camel and left for his city.

 For a long time they kept looking at the Holy Prophet (sws) and got lost in the speed of the Holy Prophet (sws). When the Holy Prophet (sws) disappeared from sight, the caravan stood with their hands on their hearts.  When they came out of nowhere, they asked each other if anyone knew the person who had come.  Did anyone ask for his address? If a loan is given to someone, you know it, then you lend it, or there is a guarantor in the middle, or he mortgages something, if someone buys it in cash, then no need of all these, it is strange that a man came and took a valuable camel and none of us even know it.

 One of them said that when he was talking, light was shining from his mouth, I just stared at his face.  The other said when he was smiling, I got lost in his smile.  One said I got lost in the twists and turns of his hair, another said I got lost in his eyes.  They said, "We are lost in his beauty. No one remembers to ask for his address." Then one of them said, "Whatever was to happen has happened. Now he has awakened the magic of his beauty and taken the camel from us."  Will not come  When he said, "The camel has been taken away."  Imam Zarqani has written that the wife of the leader of the caravan, who had been silent till now, removed the veil of the tent and addressed them, saying, Translation: "I am the guarantor of him, i will give you money if he will not come.the  people said, "Well, you know him? She replied no I don't even know him." So they asked, "How are you guaranteeing?" She said, "I saw his face in the tent while you were making a deal."  He whose face is so beautiful cannot be a liar.

 At that time a man came and said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had sent these dates for you and you should pay your price with them.  They said, "What price will we pay? We are sold ourselves. Tell us where he lives." The man replied, "The oasis is the palm tree that is visible. He live there."

 So all the tribesmen got up from there, "They are known as the Wafd-e-Tariq". They reached the Holy Prophet (sws) and accepted Islam.

 Allah has made the face of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) blessed and brightest.

Urdu Translation

ایک دن حضور صلی اللّٰہ علیہ والہ وسلم سیر کرتے کرتے مدینہ منورہ سے باہر کسی چراہ گاہ میں تشریف لے گئے۔وہاں ایک قافلے نے پڑائوکیا ہوا تھا۔انکے سرخ رنگ کے اونٹ آپ صلی اللّٰہ علیہ والہ وسلم کو پسند آگیا، اس کے بخت کہ حضور صلی اللّٰہ علیہ والہ وسلم کو پسند آگیا۔ حضور صلی اللّٰہ علیہ والہ وسلم نے ان سے پوچھا کہ کیا تم یہ اونٹ بیچتے ہو؟انہوں نے بیچنا تھا یا نہیں حضور صلی اللّٰہ علیہ والہ وسلم نے پوچھا تو انہوں نے کہا جی بیچتے ہیں۔ حضور صلی اللّٰہ علیہ والہ وسلم نے پوچھا کتنے کا بیچتے ہو؟انہوں نے قیمت بتائی سودا ہوگیا۔ حضور صلی اللّٰہ علیہ والہ وسلم نے فرمایا ٹھیک ہے میں خریدتا ہوں لیکن میرے پاس ابھی قیمت نہیں ہے میں تو یونہی سیر کی غرض سے نکلا تھا اچانک اونٹ پسند آگیا تو میں اپنے شہر جاکے اسکی قیمت بھیج دیتا ہوں۔ انہوں نے کہا ہمیں منظور ہے۔ حضور صلی اللّٰہ علیہ والہ وسلم نے اونٹ پکڑا اور اپنے شہر کیطرف روانہ ہوگئے۔

کافی دیر وہ حضور صلی اللّٰہ علیہ والہ وسلم کو دیکھتے رہے اور حضور صلی اللّٰہ علیہ والہ وسلم کی رفتار میں کھوگئے، جب حضور صلی اللّٰہ علیہ والہ وسلم آنکھوں سے اوجھل ہوگئے تو قافلے والے دل پہ ہاتھ رکھ کے کھڑے ہو گئے۔ جب سکتے سے باہر آئے تو ایک دوسرے سے پوچھنے لگے کہ یہ جو شخص آیا تھا کوئی اسے جانتا بھی تھا؟ کسی نے اسکا پتہ بھی پوچھا؟کسی کو ادھار سودا دیا جاتا ہے تو آپ اسے جانتے ہوتے ہیں تب ہی ادھار دیتے ہیں ، یا درمیان میں کوئی ضامن ہو، یا وہ کوئی چیز گروی رکھ دے ہاں اگر کوئی نقد خریداری کرے تو ان چیزوں کی ضرورت ہیں پڑتی تو عجیب بات ہے کہ ایک شخص آیا اور قیمتی اونٹ لے گیا اور ہم میں سے کوئی اسے جانتا بھی نہیں۔

ان میں سے ایک بولا جب وہ بات کرتا تھا اس کے منہ سے نور جھڑتا تھا، میں تو اس کے چہرے کو دیکھتا رہ گیا۔ دوسرا بولا جب وہ مسکراتا تھا میں تو اس کی مسکراہٹ میں ہی کھو گیا۔ ایک بولا میں تو اسکی زلف کے پیچ و خم میں کھو گیا، ایک کہنے لگا میں تو اسکی آنکھوں میں کھو گیا۔ انہوں نے کہا ہم اس کے حسن میں کھو گئے کسی کو یاد ہی نہیں کہ اس کا پتہ پوچھ لیتے، پھر انہوں نے کہا جو بھی ہونا تھا ہوگیا اب وہ اپنے حسن کا جادو جگا کر ہم سے اونٹ ہتھیا کے لے گیا ہے، اب وہ نہیں آئے گا۔ جب انہوں نے یہ کہا کہ "اونٹ ہتھیا کے لے گیا ہے"۔ امام زرقانی نے لکھا ہے کہ اب تک خاموش بیٹھی قافلے کے سردار کی بیوی نے خیمے کا پردہ ہٹا کر ان سے مخاطب ہوکر کہا "انا ضامن تن لسمن جملکم لا یغدربکم" ترجمہ: میں ضامنہ ہوں اگر وہ پیسے دینے نہ آیا تو مجھ سے لے لینا، فاقلے والوں نے کہا اچھا تو آپ جانتی ہیں اسے تو وہ بولی وللّٰہ میں بھی نہیں جانتی، تو انہوں نے پوچھا پھر ضمانت کیسے دے رہی ہو تو کہنے لگی جب تم سودا کر رہے تھے میں نے خیمے میں سے اسکا چہرہ دیکھا تھا اور جس کا چہرہ اتنا خوبصورت ہو وہ جھوٹا ہو ہی نہیں سکتا۔

اسی دوران ایک شخص آیا اس نے کہا یہ کھجوریں حضور صلی اللّٰہ علیہ والہ وسلم نے تمہارے لئے بھیجی ہیں اور ان سے اپنی قیمت پوری کرلو۔ انہون نے کہا ہم قیمت کیا لیں گے ہم خود بک گئے ہیں، ہمیں بتائو وہ پیارا رہتا کہاں ہے تو آدمی نے جواب دیا وہ جو نخلستان ہے کجوروں کا جو جھنڈ دکھائی دے رہا ہے وہیں رہتے ہیں۔

لہذا تمام قبیلے والے وہاں سے اٹھے، "وفدِ طارق کے نام سے یہ مشہور ہیں" حضور صلی اللّٰہ علیہ والہ وسلم کے پاس پہنچے اور اسلام قبول کرلیا۔

اللّٰہ نے حضور صلی اللّٰہ علیہ والہ وسلم کا چہرہ مبارک ہی ایسا بنا دیا ہے کہ .دیکھنے والے کہا کرتے ہیں اللّٰہ اللّٰہ یاد آتا ہے دیکھ کرخدا صورت تیری۔
